How do I add another device for Duo authentication?

Adding a new Duo Device to an existing account requires some way to authenticate, if no authentication method is available you will need to either call the ITS Helpdesk at 518-564-4433 or stop by the office in Feinberg 106.

  1. In a web browser navigate to and sign into your account, stopping at the Duo Authentication page.
  2. Once on the Duo page, click the link Other Options.
  3. In the list options, select Manage Devices.
  4. At this point you need to Duo authenticate in some way before you are able to add a new device. If you are adding a new smartphone with the same phone number, you can have duo send a code via SMS.
  5. The system will then guide you through setting up the new device.
