Devices such as laptops, Chromebooks, smartphones and tablets will connect to the SUNY-Plattsburgh SSID. The identity will be your netID and the same password you have for accessing your portal account. Chromebooks and many Android devices will often need a few settings to be manually entered while on the connection screen. If you have any trouble it would be best to stop by the ITS Helpdesk in Feinberg 106(inside the Computer Lab) with the device.
Additional settings for Android/ChromeOS:
- EAP Method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate: 'Do not check' or 'Do not Validate'
- Domain: plattsburgh.edu
