How do I forward my Zoom phone calls?
Desktop App
Click your user icon along the top of the application window.
In the menu that opens, click
Forward calls
If you want to forward calls to another number:
Select
name or number
In the
Forwarding contact
field enter the number to forward calls to.
In the
Forwarding duration
field, select the time period to forward your received calls.
Click
Save
If you want to forward to voice mail:
Select
Voicemail / videomail
Select your voicemail greeting if you do not want to use your default greeting
In the
Forwarding duration
field, select the time period to forward your received calls.
Click
Save
Mobile App
Click the
More
option.
Under Settings, click
Phone
Click
Forward calls
If you wish to forward to another Zoom contact:
Select
Forward to a name or extension
Click
Forwarding contact
and select who to forward calls to
Click
Forwarding duration
and select the amount of time to forward calls for.
Click
Enable
If you wish to forward to an external phone number:
Select
Forward to an external number
Click
Number
and enter the phone number with area code, click Save
Click
Forwarding duration
and select the amount of time to forward calls for.
Click
Enable
If you wish to forward to voicemail:
Select
Forward to voicemail / videomail
Select the desired greeting if you have more than the default
Click
Forwarding duration
and select the amount of time to forward calls for.
Click
Enable
Handset
Click the button under the
More
option on the screen
Click the button under
Forward
on the screen
Use the phone's directional pad to select the forwarding type you wish to modify, click the button under
Select
on the screen.
Always
- Forwards all incoming calls until disabled.
No Answer
- Only forwards calls that are not answered
Busy
- Only forwards calls when your Zoom account is set to 'Busy'
After selecting the forwarding type, enter the phone number to forward to and click the button under
Enable
on the screen.
