Assisting with Inspiroscan

Inspiroscan is a desktop application installed to all office PCs that can be used to grade bubble test sheets. There are two parts to working with Inspiroscan:

Scan Action on the Printer

Printers are setup with a scan action that will let the user scan bubble sheets into a network share on \\scanner. The ITS Helpdesk will need to take care of setting up the scan action or giving access to an existing scan actions. For this a ticket would need to be entered with the netID(s) of anyone that will need access, what department the scans are for and if it is for exams or surveys. 

Inspiroscan Application

To process the scanned bubble sheets the individual will need to access the network share, it is best to map the network drive to the PC.

  • Open the File Explorer
  • Navigate to \\scanner
  • Right-click the appropriate department share, select Map network drive...
  • Check the box next to Reconnect at sign-in and click Finish
  • The share will now be available on the PC similar to an external hard drive.

Ordering more test or survey sheets

The Printing and Duplicating office can print out more sheet in the link below, Expand, fill out and submit the online order form, keep the following in mind:

  • Requests take up to a week to process.
  • Test sheets can be ordered in batches of 100
  • Scan and upload a copy of the particular Inspiroscan test sheet that you want printed.
