How to I restrict posting to my calendar via email?

Open Google Calendar on a desktop via a web browser
Click the 'gear' icon in the upper area of the page
Click settings
Along the left, click 'Event settings'
Click the drop down 'Add invitation to my calendar' and set it to 'Only if the sender is known'
